Sorry I don't have much insight on that one. I suspect the error is exactly what it says - there's a program or background process that's running that's conflicting with X-Trap. Ideally, the name of that program/process would be on the X-Trap error window but in this -507 error it's usually blank.

You can do some trial and error to close processes because I don't know which one exactly. You're the third person who's asked me about this error, one of the others is using Windows 7 so at least we know it's not Windows 8 related (most likely.) Maybe an antivirus program?
