You can find their entire set at the Youtube video source. Right, for those of you complaining about the mix, heres how stuff is done at festivals in regard to streaming. Its is either A, or B. All the stuff that goes from the stage to the audience mixer is duplicated and sent to a trailer backstage in the broadcast area.
The Audience mix and broadcast mix are seperate. So the stream was mixed live, in a trailer by someone who is paid very little to do a very difficult job, ALL DAY. They take a feed from a band members monitor feed ( they did this for the 2006 stream, all the videos get Jimmy’s mix – Kick, snare, bass and a bit of vocal) In this case, you only get what a particular band member wants to hear. Either way is not ideal.
The best results come from recording the RAW signals from the stage, and mixing them in a studio a la LBC Comment by June 7, 2011 @.
